This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God's people, but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God (2nd Corinthians 9:12).

Even if you do not live in the immediate vicinity of Love in Action, you can still volunteer by being a LIA ambassador. What does this look like? Share the Love In Action brochures or newsletter with the pastoral care or counseling staff at your church. Stand up for Christ and let it be known that you can and will discuss these difficult areas, offering hope and healing to those that struggle.

1. Learn about the issues we minister in by attending an on site conference.

2. Using Love In Action publications and materials, form a suport group at your church for those that struggle or for families of those that struggle.  For details call: (901) 751-2468 or email alex at: admin@loveinaction.org  

3. Bring an on-site Love in Action conference to your church.

Ambassadors are... bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless

things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and the sea and everything in

them (Acts 14: 15b).

Organize your church or service group to create gift bags for clients. These are welcome any time and also at holidays when clients are separated from family and friends. Gift bags for men or women are a reminder to clients that the body of Christ is standing with them as they walk out a process of healing, committing to profound change and holiness. Suggested items for a gift bag might include:

• Blank notebook or journal
• Pens, colored pencils or markers
• Candy
• Gift Certificate to a local fast food restaurant to be enjoyed when personal time is earned
• Blank stationary cards sending letters home or to the church family
• Socks, toothpaste, shampoo, shaving cream, deoderant
• A personal note of encouragment from you with a Bible verse

If you are local, there are special ways you can volunteer:

• Provide gift bags (see above)
• Organize a group to provide a special meal to clients and staff during the day or for conferences and special events. Call ahead to let us know you would like to bless us in this way.
• If you have a special repair gift - anything from technical to muscle to creative design.
• Gift cards to Sam's, Home Depot, Wal-mart, Kroger, etc.
• Pastors, Priests, lay ministry leaders can volunteer to lead a special chapel service.
