There are hidden facts about porn that the pornographers don't want you to know.

  • Porn is one of the chief weapons against Christian men today. If Satan can take the spiritual leader out of the home then the home falls. If the home falls then the church falls. If the church falls then the country falls.
  • Porn is a:

» LIAR—It tells you, "It's only pictures, and you aren't hurting anyone." The truth is that there are spiritual, emotional, mental, and relational consequences to porn use.
» THIEF—It robs from you true intimacy with God, family, and friends.
» MOLESTER—It rapes your soul each time you enter into its world. It rapes from you your spiritual gifts and talents.
» MURDERER—Porn is about death. It desires to kill off your relationship with family, friends, and God.

  • God intended sex to be the spiritual bonding between husband and wife. When you take one element of sex, for example visual stimulation, outside the boundaries God intended, then there is spiritual bonding with the porn. There is no other addictive behavior that penetrates this deeply.
  • Porn promotes false intimacy. It tells you that you can get all of your emotional and relational needs met. These false messages penetrate to your soul and block your ability to have healthy non-sexual intimacy.
  • When porn crosses a line into an addiction, then intensive interventions must occur. This will not just go away by itself: sex addicts need help to detox or purify their minds and souls. If you have crossed over this line or know someone who has, then tell someone. You will need other Godly men to support you during your recovery. For avenues of help, call Love in Action International at 901-751-2468 (toll-free at 877-320-5217) or explore our program options. We provide intensive four-day workshops for men struggling with sexual addiction. Our Scripture-based approach promotes healing through God’s truth. Freedom from such bondage is possible, but getting there is a process. Does God need to start that process in you today?
