4-Day Intensive
Participants in the 4-Day Intensive program reside off-campus and attend their program at the Love In Action campus from 9-5 Monday through Thursday. During these hours the participants alternate between one-on-one time with their Intensive counselor and individual work, with assignments to complete each evening. Participants receive a set of tools that will empower them to embrace their identity in Christ and reconnect with God in a deeper way.
For sexual and relational strugglers, the focus of this time is to address and understand sexual addiction and emotional/relational brokenness and the core issues that feed them. Participants will also develop a clear battle plan to maintain sobriety and meet their needs in healthy ways.
For spouses or parents of strugglers, the 4-Day is a time for them to gain awareness of personal strongholds and burdens, submit them to the Lord, and work on a plan of action for walking in greater freedom in Christ.
Program Features
- Unique Approach: Every person is different, and so is every 4-Day Intensive! Each workshop is hand-tailored for the needs of the individual client.
- Concentrated Focus: Each client receives up to 30 hours of one-on-one attention from a Love In Action counselor.
- Flexible scheduling: The workshop is scheduled individually when you are ready to come, depending on our counselors’ availability.
Program Topics
Depending on the individual’s needs, some of the topics covered may include:
- identity in Christ
- understanding your core woundedness
- learning why you do the things you do
- releasing guilt and shame
- barriers to healthy intimacy with God and others
- confronting false belief systems (replacing lies with God’s truth)
- surrendering to God
- beginning the process of forgiveness
- applying boundaries with yourself and others
- maintaining sobriety
The 4-Day Intensive program is designed to be a jump-start or an accelerant to the healing process. It is geared toward highly motivated men and women who are serious about their recovery, and is therefore not a "short-cut" or an easy path to healing. Workshops are held Monday through Thursday at our Memphis, Tennessee campus. (Weekend days are not available.) The 4-Day Intensive runs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It is recommended to have your own transportation and to arrive in Memphis the day before your workshop begins.

Cost
The program fee is $1500 and does not include lodging, transportation, or most meals (daily lunch provided).
